Interview Process

At LFC we evaluate people on 5 key parameters

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
We look for people who like to get their hands dirty while trying to solve business problems for clients. Since most of our projects are with manufacturing companies, experience in core manufacturing roles with shop-floor experience is a must. Spending long hours on the shop-floor or out in the market studying the problems should be a non-issue for our ideal candidate.
PROBLEM STRUCTURING & SOLVING
We look for people who are effective serial problem solvers.
There are 2 types of people in the face of problems:
  • Those who get frustrated
  • Those who get excited – and are actively looking for problems to solve,
  • create solutions and improve things.

If you fall under the second category, then LFC is the place for you.
A good problem solver will have a rigorous approach to information gathering, problem analysis as well as an intuitive understanding of solutions that work and those that don't.
KNOWLEDGE OF TOOLS
Understanding of basic concepts and tools related to Lean, Operational Excellence, Change Management, Market Surveys, Problem Solving Tools etc.
COMMUNICATION, ARTICULATION AND GRAVITAS
We want people who grab the attention of a client. A good communicator is first a good listener and knows how to deliver his/her thoughts in the most precise and concise manner.
DEMONSTRATED CHANGE MANAGEMENT ABILITY
We look for people who will execute and not just theorize endlessly. This needs clear action orientation, a sense of urgency to execute and above all, leadership skills.
