Subhabrata started his career in Tata Motors Ltd, Jamshedpur where he worked for 3.5 years before opting for Management Education. He started his Management Consulting career with Levers for Change.

In his consulting career, he has had the opportunity to work in industry verticals like Polymer, Manufacturing (Electronic control & timing devices, terminal Blocks, PVC pipes, Structural steels) and Textile (Garment manufacturing). He has completed 3 implementation projects and 8 business surveys to make business case for implementation.

At LFC, he has helped frontline sales teams expand their footprints in the market at breakneck speeds by bringing high amount of focus and discipline in execution.

In a period of 8 months, he helped a TPU to set up retail network in 28 micro markets of Delhi - 24 distributors and 432 retailers from ground zero up and running

He also helped a PVC pipe manufacturing company to increase its productivity from 73% to 98.9%. Additionally, he helped a hot rolled structural steel manufacturing organization to increase its effective run time from 6 hours to 16 hours per day thus, achieving improved productivity from 23% to 56%. He helped develop the strategy and execution model for expansion - venturing into new markets where a PVC pipe manufacturer had failed in the past and expanding the reach of its business and product portfolio by introducing new products in existing established markets. Successful pilot projects were implemented in different types of markets and the sales team was trained to execute the same in other geographies.

Watching action movies, analyzing cricket matches and listening to old Hindi movie songs, remembering good dialogues from movies and reciting them at appropriate place and time are some of his hobbies. He also loves to spend time with family and friends.
