Mukilan started his career in fast-moving consumer goods industry, where he worked in streamlining the sales & operation planning aimed to decrease the loss of sales order, and to improve the service levels across PAN India. His next stint was in the e-commerce b2b supply chain start-up where he was managing the sourcing of fresh produce across geographies, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of supply to multiple cities.

He completed his formal management education from IIM Indore after finishing his engineering from NIT Calicut. He started his consulting career with Levers for Change, where he had the opportunity to work in industry verticals like Commodity Exports, Industrial Gearbox, Copper Products manufacturing and Tyre manufacturing sectors.

During his consulting career, he helped develop a road map to improve the On-Time Dispatch levels for a Food Processing company by identifying the levers to decrease the lead time and designed an execution model to scale up the daily production for their multiple units. Through a diagnosis exercise for a Copper Products manufacturing, he identified the factors hampering the existing asset utilization and proposed integrated channels to improve their throughput.

Outside of work, Mukilan loves to involve himself in cattle rearing, farming and bio cultural sports.

In his free time he prefers to spend time with his family and friends.
