Experienced managements consultant having domain knowledge in non-ferrous metal production and mechanics maintenance, with an exposure to production process reengineering- an emotional individual who, believes in adding value to every assignment and experimenting with all the options before arriving to conclusions.
Ankur started his career in Hindalco Industries Ltd, Hirakud where he worked for 5 years. During his association with Hindalco he Won 3rd prize in CII National Kaizen Competition, worked on process re-engineering to help in increasing the production of worth 14.5 Cr. After gaining 5 years of experience in industry, Ankur went on to complete his Management studies from SJMSoM- IIT Bombay. After which he joined LFC consulting as an “Associate”.
During his career, Ankur has worked in Automobile industry, steel rolling industry, PVC pipes industry, Textile industry, wheat flour industry and wire rope drawing.
He had also helped a Delhi based wheat flour producer, who was focused mainly on institutional sales, to increase its presence in distribution and retail markets, so as to improve its grinding volume by 50% with improved margins, by setting up a distributor network of 43 distributors at very scientifically identified locations, by defining the value proposition and brand positioning, and target customers.
In 24 weeks, he laid down the plan to grow sales of PVC pipes in Maharashtra market by more than 550% in 8 months.
In his free time he loves to binge watch movies and explore new locations of historical importance and visit museums, he finds out extra time to make sure he goes to museum in the cities that he visits.
